As Friends Corner enjoys some wonderful times we, as members, supporters and advisors, bask in the joy of seeing our little ones playing and learning alongside one another in our warm clubhouse.
For us personally, our experiences as parents at Friends Corner as well as professionals at EQnomics, have enabled us to prepare a series of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) lectures.
The aim of these brief talks is to support and facilitate the growing community of interested parents, in the hope of making this role that much more effective and significant.
According to the creators of Neuro-Linguistic Programming – Dr. Richard Bandler and Dr. John Grinder – NLP is an attitude and a methodology that leaves one with a number of techniques that includes comprehensive approaches to learning, leading, parenting, educating, communicating and venturing.
Indeed, the whole gamut that is Life!
If you are interested to learn how our (and our children’s) brain works, how we process information from our environment, how we create and model our perception of the world (using neuroscience), how the structure of our language affects our thoughts, emotional states and actions and if you want to have fun practicing with techniques that will allow you flexibility in your behaviour and effectiveness in facilitating the process of your parenting role and indeed yourself as a role-model, then this is exactly the purpose for which we created our EQnomics interactive Parenting Lectures!
